New Android App "Tote Notes" to Launch as Innovative Mobile Tool Combing Call Notes with Email

Tote Notes, a new productivity app made exclusively by Mercury Mobile for Android users, will launch for public use on November 16. Targeted for the person who is always on the go, Tote Notesleverages Google Voice technology to transcribe a user’s recorded voice memo or “Tote Note” once a phone call has ended. Tote Notes packages the audio recording with the transcribed text which is sent directly to the user’s email account, using the name of the person the user spoke with as the subject title.

Distribution of Tote Notes will be provided through Google’s Android Marketplace, and in its initial release will include both a free and at-cost version. Competitively priced to other productivity apps in the marketplace, the at-cost version is available for $3.99, which provides enhanced email options as well as increased recording time. For large organizations and sales teams, an API will be available, allowing the core functionality of Tote Notes to easily incorporate itself with the end users’ customized CRM network.

We created the app so that it easily integrates with email filters, so it can be used with Microsoft Outlook, other sales tools or CRM solution sets. Mercury Mobile has a patent pending with the U.S. Patents and Trademark Office for Tote Notes.
